As Sierra Leone delves deeper into the digital domain, it is but equally essential for the Military to be increasingly integrated into the ICT innovation. The introduction and incorporation of ICT will equip and fortify our forces with current, comprehensive and sophisticated data and software programs critical to support informed decision making; enable rapid and synchronized action; and provide rapid response to critical situations. It will serve our forces well especially in our quest to bring peace to other parts of the world through our peacekeeping efforts. operations and administration of the Ministry of Defence and have faith that our mission to serve and protect is carried out to the fullest.

The advancement of science and technology has further spurred new forms of threats, including unconventional threats such as biological weaponry and cyber security threat.
However, technology has also seen new innovations in the field of defence, which is especially why moving forward with information and communication technology adaptation
is even more important now than ever before. This website is a step towards that direction.
