COMMENCEMENT OF SELECTION PROCESS FOR APPLICANTS OF THE ALL- FEMALE RECRUITMENT INTO REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE ARMED FORCES
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) would like to inform all potential applicants that the SELECTION PROCESS for the all-female recruitment will commence on Thursday, 17 January 2019. Hence, all applicants MUST report to their RESPECTIVE Regional Recruitment Centres by 6:00am on Thursday, 17 January 2019.
These Centres include:
1. Headquarters 3 Infantry Brigade, Murray Town Barracks in Freetown.
2. Headquarters 4 Infantry Brigade, Teko Barracks in Makeni.
3. Headquarters 5 Infantry Brigade, Gondama Barracks off Bo.
4. 2 Battalion Headquarters, RTI Barracks in Kenema.
The registration and verification process would commence by 6:30am. Thus, all applicants MUST come along with the ORIGINALS of all the documents that they have ALREADY submitted to their respective Centres.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) would also like to inform all applicants that during the selection process, they will be assessed in the following areas:
1. Educational Test (which will cover Mathematics, English and General Knowledge)
2. Physical Test (which will cover Press Ups, Sit Ups and 1.5Km Run)
3. Medical Test (which will involve testing for several medical conditions)
Meanwhile, the CLOSING DATE for the submission of all application forms has been extended to 16 January 2019.
